Badminton Success – City, County & Beyond!

It has been an exceptional season for our badminton teams, with remarkable achievements across both KS3 and KS4.

Our KS3 Boys and KS4 Boys teams delivered superb performances throughout the competition to be crowned City Champions and progressed through to the Leicestershire County  Finals. Their teamwork, determination and skill were evident in every round, as they battled through strong opposition to secure the titles.

The success continued with our KS4 Girls team, who were also crowned City Champions after a series of outstanding performances. Not content with stopping there, the KS4 Girls went on to compete in the Leicestershire County Finals, where they once again demonstrated their quality and resilience to become County Champions. This incredible achievement means they have now progressed through to the National Finals,  a truly outstanding accomplishment and a proud moment for the school.

Our KS3 Girls team also impressed, finishing second in the city after a fantastic campaign. They showed excellent determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition and should be extremely proud of their efforts.

Congratulations to all players involved, we look forward to supporting the KS4 Girls at the National Finals and celebrating what has already been a phenomenal season for school badminton!
